Here at Northern Freight Services we have a secure 180,000 sq. ft dry warehouse facility.for racked and free standing product.And 9 acres of outside storage.Ideal for customers wanting a facility to store all weather equipment and parking of caravans etc.we are ideally located in Peterlee.Just off the A19 on the  North west ind est. The facility is covered both inside and out with CCTV and manned security patrols 24/7. We have dock level facilities and conventional unloading departments. Enabling us to offer container destuffing and other services,we also have a mixture of lifting equipment including forklifts,Telehandlers upto 5 tons. hoists. cranes.hydraulic clamps for various product.

How it works

Currently Northern Freight Services provide a just in time/kanban and direct-to-line facility for 2 major heavy plant manufacturers and are able to offer this service to our customers in general. Being custom & excise bonded, our warehouse can hold customer's imported goods without them paying the relevant duties until they actually call them off.

Also we can offer a re-work service which includes assembly, changing damaged components & quality checking.

Where goods arrive in containers with large quantities we can re-box. re-stack to the customer's specification in the box size and quantity required.we do operate a bar-coding system tailored to individual customers needs.
